If a toy is small enough
that you can lift it, it can't really be any good.
Here are some toys I
get to run that I can't lift:
The Best steam engine at Ardenwood Farms in Newark, CA: Best #1 ; Best #2
The Bucyrus-Erie steam shovel belonging to a friend: Erie-1 ; Erie-2 ; Erie-3 ; Erie-4
Some locomotives at Silverbend
just north of Clarksburg, CA: No. 202
; A double header ; The
Edison loco
(Silverbend will be
open all during October for Pumpkin Patch - train rides, pumpkins, great
for kids)
If you like trains, but
can't quite accomodate toy trains like those at Silverbend, try my pages
on Grand Scale Railroads.
You can't lift a Pipe Organ either, so here
are my Pipe organ pages.
To make things heavy enough not to be able to lift, you need an iron foundry. Here is my favorite: Sunset Foundry.
